After announcing earlier this week that ‘This Shining Night’ has sold out, we are heartbroken to say more than £500 worth of ticket money has been stolen St. Edmund’s Church.
We are upset and alarmed that someone would target a church and community organisation in this way. As a Choir we always look forward to our Christmas concerts and they are our main way of funding the work that we do.
As a community, we are committed to being completely inclusive meaning there are no fees or auditions asked of any members – funds from donations and ticket income keep the Choir free for all members. Every penny of income we receive counts and we simply cannot just let this slide and we are working with the Police.
However, we are ambitious and have an exciting future planned. Therefore, we ask you to support our campaign to help regenerate these funds to help us continue to be one of the most inclusive music groups in the North West, to continue to engage with more than 70 local singers and continue to enrich more than 20 children through our #LoveToSing programme.
