Each year, Liverpool City Region are nominating a brough to be Borough of Culture each year and this year, Sefton has been given the accolade.
From Bach to the Beatles and Dear Evan Hansen to Disney, we have a series of concerts and events led by St. Edmund’s Choir, #LoveToSing and local musicians to celebrate the music, culture and community of St. Edmund’s, Waterloo and Sefton.
Director of SEMusic says “Culture in Sefton is something that isn’t celebrated often enough. Here in Waterloo, we have the beautiful In Another Place statues on our doorstep but aside from that art we have an array of musicians in our community worth showcasing.”
“I have always been on awe of the acoustic and the versatility of St. Edmund’s Church as a place for performance and with that in mind we have curated a series of performances across the year to share the arts with our community.”
Some of the events planned are free with donations welcomed but for some there is a minimal fee to cover overheads and tickets can be bought via Eventbrite.
