The most inclusive music group in the North-West.

SEMusic, which began as St. Edmund's Choir, is now firmly in it's third chapter!

It has grown from a group of four people singing at Mass to almost 100 people aged 4 to 88 meeting each week to make music together, perform events and as a place to escape to.

From sell-out concerts at Liverpool's biggest venues, to celebrating personal moments with our nearest and dearest, SEMusic has gone above and beyond the work of what started as a church choir.

In 2020 and despite the pandemic, SEMusic managed to have its largest concert audience ever, by streaming a Christmas Concert online.  With 5,000 views on Facebook and YouTube and more than 2,000 downloads of our home-schooling resources, it was our best year ever.

Our 2026/27 Season will be our thirtieth season of music making, and we've got plans for some truly exciting concerts. We then celebrate our 30th birthday in August 2027 and plan on continue celebrating this milestone into our 2027/28 season as well!

Over the course of our nearly thirty years of music making, we have been lucky to have had only three directors: Martin O'Boyle, the founder of the choir who was director from 1997 to 2018, Charlie Corkin who was director from 2018 to 2024, and our current director Benjamin Dolan who took the reigns in 2024.
